Kanoyangwa Transport is a family owned business that extends across three generations. We are proud to be part of an organisation that has been operating transport services in Zimbabwe for over 20 years. We have an unrivalled reputation on safety, reliability and efficiency. I started getting involved in the family business from a very early stage and admired the principles in which the business was built upon. The founders were particular in the way in which they related to all their customers. They went an extra mile to make sure all customers were treated with respect and valued irrespective of the volume of their business.

Our business is built on integrity and good will, we are very much part of the communities that we work in, and these communities have become important partners in our business.

My brothers and I went to work with my dad and uncles and we worked under their mentorship. We were allocated different tasks throughout the day, especially during school holidays and this became the foundation for developing my business interests. As we got older my brothers and I were included in the daily numbers, making up the team or workforce and we took turns working in all divisions of the business. I grew up with the aspiration that one day I would continue with the same success.

My dad and his brothers taught us the do's and dont's, including values they felt were essential in giving us the foundation and appreciation of how business operates. We were moulded to be part of their business image. When I left school I was constantly looking at resources and seeking opportunities to modernise and re-structure the business in order that it is able to operate well into the 21st century and provide a service that is fit for purpose and positioned to meet our customers expectations.

The opportunities were occasionally constrained by the socio-political climate around that era and this slowed down the natural progression of the business. The vehicles they were using were old and could no longer cope with the demands of our customers and needed replacing with new vehicles that are more economical, efficient and reliable.

Today I am carrying forward that vision in taking the business to new heights, we are now running a fleet of modern trucks from three main dealers:

We chose trucks from these three manufacturers because they have responded to all challenges thrown at them and they have proved that they are designed  to cope with the demands placed on them by our terrains and road conditions.
